Pricebeeper vs Quicklizard

Quicklizard is an AI pricing platform for mid-market and enterprise retailers: it combines your sales, stock and cost data with competitor prices from data partners, and pushes prices to web stores, marketplaces and shelf labels after a pilot of about 12 weeks. Pricebeeper collects competitor prices itself on Google Shopping and Amazon and turns them into rule-based price suggestions for Shopify and WooCommerce, with published plans from $39 a month and repricing from $209.

The short answer

Choose Quicklizard if you run a large catalog across web, marketplaces and physical stores, have sales and cost data to feed a model, and want a vendor team to guide a phased rollout. Choose Pricebeeper if you need the competitor prices themselves and a set of repricing rules you can switch on this week: 3,000 slots with repricing cost $209 a month on Growth.

Who Pricebeeper suits better than Quicklizard

  1. Online retailers without a competitor data contract

Quicklizard's FAQ lists competitor price feeds among what it needs to start, and names data partners such as Bright Data, Dealavo and DataWeave. Pricebeeper collects competitor prices itself on every paid plan, from $39 a month for 500 slots, and its repricing uses that data directly.

  2. Shops with a few thousand products and no pricing team

Quicklizard says it serves mid-market to enterprise retailers with large catalogs, and every plan includes customer success sessions. Pricebeeper's Growth plan covers 3,000 product-region slots with repricing and MAP for $209 a month, set up by yourself.

  3. Retailers who can't give pricing a 16-week project

Quicklizard's FAQ describes a pilot live within 12 weeks and scale-up in weeks 13 to 16. Pricebeeper is self-serve: import your store, attach products to a region, and the first check is queued at once. Growth has a 14-day trial without a card.

  4. WooCommerce stores

Quicklizard's pre-built connectors are SAP, Shopify and Magento, with an API or Kafka for others. Pricebeeper writes approved prices to WooCommerce with REST API keys, as well as to Shopify, on Growth at $209 a month.

Two kinds of pricing software

Quicklizard is price optimization and automation software. It takes your own data (sales history, stock, costs and catalog) plus competitor prices and market signals, estimates how demand responds to price, and recommends or sets prices across every product and channel toward a margin, revenue or sell-through goal. It calls its approach Glass Box AI: each recommendation shows the inputs and logic behind it, and your team can approve or override it.

Pricebeeper is competitor price monitoring first. It finds the other sellers of your products on Google Shopping and Amazon, records their prices, stock and shipping, and alerts you when they move. Its repricing then positions your price against those competitors by rules you write. It does not read your sales volumes and does not estimate demand.

So the two overlap only in the last step, turning market data into a price. Quicklizard is the larger system, and its competitor prices come through data partners. Pricebeeper is the data plus a simpler pricing layer on top.

Where the competitor prices come from

Quicklizard's FAQ says its Competitive Intelligence Engine is powered by data partners, including Bright Data, Dealavo and DataWeave, and ingests competitor prices at SKU level. It then runs them through its Competitor Sensitivity Index, which filters out competitor moves that don't affect your demand, so you don't chase every price change.

Pricebeeper collects the prices itself. It searches Google Shopping and Amazon for each product by barcode, then brand and title, and once a product is matched it tracks the sellers of that exact item. Searches for sellers run once a month. Between searches, known sellers' own pages are re-read weekly on Starter and Plus, and daily on Growth and up with the 5 cheapest every 6 hours. You can also pin any competitor product page except Amazon's. Exact product matching covers how matches are checked.

Quicklizard's pages don't say whether partner data is part of its price or bought separately, so ask in a demo. Two of the named partners have their own comparison pages here: Dealavo and DataWeave.

Plans and prices

Quicklizard's pricing page publishes plan contents but not prices. It says pricing depends on assortment size, pricing frequency and execution channels, with standard, enterprise and Revenue Under Management plans. Perform includes live pricing, business rules, a dedicated customer success manager, monthly sessions and email and chat support, with AI as an optional add-on. Strategize adds bi-weekly sessions and beta features. Enterprise adds a dedicated solution architect, weekly sessions and an executive steering committee. Full platform access, an open API and ready-made pricing rules come with all of them.

Pricebeeper's prices are on its pricing page, per slot (one product in one region). 2,000 products in one country fit Growth, $209 a month, which is the first plan with repricing. 5,000 products in two countries use 10,000 slots: Growth plus 7,000 slots in packs costs $629, and Pro, $799 for 12,000 slots, adds automatic repricing. 30,000 products fit Business at $1,999. Competitor data is included in each price.

A phased rollout against a self-serve start

Quicklizard is open about its timeline. Its FAQ describes three phases: a strategy audit in weeks 1 to 4 to set goals and connect data, a pilot in one category in weeks 5 to 12, and enterprise scale-up in weeks 13 to 16. A customer success manager and a solution architect work alongside your team through each phase, and data sources such as your ERP, e-commerce platform and PIM are connected in the audit weeks, before the pilot.

Pricebeeper has no project phase. You connect a Shopify or WooCommerce store or upload a CSV, attach products to a country or state, and the first check is queued straight away. Repricing rules make suggestions as soon as competitor data arrives, and each one waits for your approval.

Guard rails and control

Both tools keep automated prices inside limits you set. Quicklizard lets you define margin floors, maximum prices, MAP or MSRP constraints, price stability periods, psychological price points and channel-specific rules, and choose full automation, approval by category, or manual override. It also offers a Python interface inside the product for custom pricing logic.

Pricebeeper's rules have a floor (a minimum price or a minimum margin over cost), a ceiling (a maximum price or the MSRP), a maximum change per step of 10% by default, a 24-hour cooldown by default, and an optional maximum age for competitor prices (none by default: each competitor's latest price counts). A rule never goes below your MAP. Suggestions wait in an approval queue with the reason for each price. On Pro and up, an approved rule can apply its own changes within a daily cap, with an account-wide pause switch.

Deciding between them

The deciding questions are about your data and your channels. If you have clean sales and cost history, physical stores, shelf labels or SAP, and the budget for a vendor-led rollout, Quicklizard fits. If you sell online through Shopify or WooCommerce, have no competitor feed, and want rules you can read, Pricebeeper covers that at a published price. You can test Pricebeeper on 50 products on the Free plan, or with repricing on the Growth trial. Create an account to start.

When Quicklizard may suit you better

  • Omnichannel retailers with physical stores and shelf labels

Quicklizard synchronizes prices across web stores, marketplaces and physical stores, with or without electronic shelf labels. Pricebeeper writes prices only to Shopify and WooCommerce; other channels get a CSV export or a webhook.

  • Retailers who want demand-aware prices

Quicklizard models elasticity, forecasts demand and weighs seasonality, weather and holidays. Its Competitor Sensitivity Index picks out the competitors whose moves actually change your sales. Pricebeeper's rules react to competitor prices only.

  • Magento and SAP retailers

Quicklizard has pre-built connectors for SAP and Magento. Pricebeeper has no Magento or SAP connection; those stores can import by CSV or Merchant Center feed and take price changes as a CSV file or a webhook.

  • Teams that want a guided rollout and named references

Every Quicklizard plan includes a dedicated customer success manager, and Enterprise adds a solution architect and weekly sessions. It names IKEA, Sephora, Samsung and John Lewis as customers, and its home page cites a 4.7 out of 5 rating on G2. Pricebeeper is newer and has no public reviews yet.

Questions people ask

How much does Quicklizard cost?

Quicklizard doesn't publish prices. Its pricing page says the price depends on assortment size, pricing frequency and execution channels, and offers Perform, Strategize and Enterprise plans plus a Revenue Under Management option. All include full platform access, an open API and ready-made pricing rules. You request a quote through a demo.

Does Quicklizard collect competitor prices itself?

Through partners. Its FAQ says its Competitive Intelligence Engine is powered by data partners, including Bright Data, Dealavo and DataWeave, and lists competitor price feeds among the data needed to start. It doesn't say whether that data is in the Quicklizard price. Pricebeeper collects competitor prices itself from Google Shopping, Amazon and pinned pages, and includes them in every paid plan.

How long does Quicklizard take to implement?

Most customers are live in a pilot category within 12 weeks, according to Quicklizard's FAQ. The plan runs a strategy audit in weeks 1 to 4, a pilot in weeks 5 to 12, and scale-up in weeks 13 to 16. Pricebeeper is self-serve, and its first check is queued as soon as you attach a product.

Can Pricebeeper reprice automatically like Quicklizard?

Yes, within limits. On Pro, Business and Custom, an approved rule can apply its own changes after a number of manual approvals, within a daily cap and an account-wide pause switch. On Growth, every suggestion waits for approval. Pricebeeper writes prices to Shopify and WooCommerce only; Quicklizard also reaches marketplaces, SAP, Magento and shelf labels.

Does Pricebeeper forecast demand?

No. Pricebeeper positions your price against competitors using rules, and never reads your sales volumes. Its price forecast projects a product's market price forward and says nothing about your demand. Quicklizard models elasticity and forecasts demand from your sales history, seasonality, weather and holidays, which suits retailers with the data to feed it.
