Keepa alternative

Pricebeeper vs Keepa

Keepa is an Amazon price tracker: it charts Amazon price history, sends price drop alerts and sells a data API covering 11 Amazon locales. Pricebeeper tracks the sellers of your own catalog on Google Shopping, Amazon and shop websites, by country or by state, from $39 a month for 500 products. Neither reprices Amazon listings or competes for the Buy Box; Amazon sellers who need that should use a repricer.

The short answer

Use Keepa to research Amazon products and their price history, especially if Amazon is the only market you watch. Use Pricebeeper if you sell on your own site and need to know the sellers of your products across Google Shopping, Amazon and independent shops, with alerts per seller, regional prices, MAP monitoring and repricing for Shopify or WooCommerce. Keepa's free plan can run next to either.

Who Pricebeeper suits better than Keepa

  1. A brand or retailer whose competitors sell on Google Shopping and their own stores

Keepa covers Amazon only. Pricebeeper finds the sellers of your products on Google Shopping by barcode, from Walmart and eBay stores to independent shops, adds Amazon sellers, and reads competitor pages you pin, from $39 a month for 500 products.

  2. A pricing team that wants an alert for each competitor's move

Pricebeeper compares each seller's cheapest offer with that seller's last price and alerts on drops, increases, sales, target prices and sell-outs, by email, Slack or webhook. Keepa's site describes price drop alerts and price watches on Amazon products.

  3. A retailer whose rivals charge different prices by state or province

Pricebeeper tracks 67 countries and about 1,700 regions inside them, with up to 10 regions on Pro. Keepa's data is organized by Amazon locale, one per country.

  4. A brand that polices MAP or wants to set its Shopify prices from the market

Growth, at $209 a month, adds MAP monitoring with hashed evidence, competitors' Search ads and repricing rules that write to Shopify or WooCommerce. Keepa's pages describe tracking and data, not enforcement or repricing.

Keepa charts Amazon, Pricebeeper follows your catalog across channels

Keepa is an Amazon price tracker. Its site offers Amazon price history charts, price drop alerts, price watches, daily price drops and browser extensions, and its API documentation lists 11 Amazon locales, from the US and UK to India and Brazil. It covers Amazon's catalog rather than yours, and a separate API sells the same data to developers.

Pricebeeper is competitor price monitoring for shops that sell on their own site. It starts from your catalog, finds the other sellers of each product on Google Shopping and Amazon, and records their prices, shipping and stock by country or by state. Amazon is one of its channels, read through its monthly search data.

Neither tool changes your Amazon prices. If you sell on Amazon and need to win the Buy Box, you need a repricer; the Informed and BQool comparisons explain how those differ from Pricebeeper.

What Keepa's data covers

Keepa's API documentation lists complete price histories, product details, marketplace offers, deals, best seller lists and seller information. A product request returns up to 100 products by ASIN or by product code, with optional Buy Box, stock and variation data. If Keepa's copy of a product is more than about an hour old, it refreshes it before answering.

The tracking API watches chosen products and sends changes to a webhook or waits for you to pull them. Plans are sold by tokens generated per minute, billed monthly in advance; one token usually buys one product, and unused tokens expire after 60 minutes. Keepa also runs a hosted MCP server that AI assistants can use with an API key.

What Pricebeeper records that Keepa doesn't

Pricebeeper matches each product by GTIN first, then brand and title. Once it is matched to a Google Shopping product, the sellers of that item appear: Walmart, eBay stores, specialist retailers and brand shops. Keepa sees those sellers only where they also sell on Amazon. Exact product matching flags doubtful matches for you to confirm, and you can pin competitor pages that aren't on Google Shopping.

Prices can be split by region: a product in Texas and in California, or in Ontario and Quebec, is two slots with two sets of sellers (regional price tracking). Sellers are found by a monthly search. Between searches, each known seller's own page is re-read weekly on Starter and Plus, and daily on Growth and up with the 5 cheapest offers every 6 hours; Amazon pages are never read directly, so Amazon prices change only at the monthly search.

Keepa's history goes back, Pricebeeper's starts with you

This is Keepa's clearest advantage. Look up an Amazon product on Keepa and you see its price history, which helps when you are sourcing products or judging whether a price is normal. Pricebeeper has no data on a product before you start monitoring it.

From that first check on, Pricebeeper keeps a history per seller across every channel it covers. The chart shows the lowest market price per day and a line for each seller, back to your first check, and pricing analytics uses the last 90 days for seller scorecards, sale patterns, leader and follower detection and price forecasts.

What it costs

Keepa shows its prices only inside its web app, so the figures here come from RevenueGeeks, a third-party review site, updated in August 2026: a free plan, one paid plan at €29 a month or €290 a year, and API plans from €49 a month for 20 tokens a minute up to €11,099 for 10,000. Check them with Keepa before you buy.

Monthly price at three catalog sizes, one region
Products you watchPricebeeperKeepa
500$39 (Starter)€29 paid plan (Amazon only)
1,500$99 (Plus)€29 paid plan (Amazon only)
3,000$209 (Growth, with daily re-checks)€29 paid plan (Amazon only)

Keepa's paid plan doesn't grow with the number of products you look at, so for Amazon alone it costs less at every size. Pricebeeper's bill pays for searching Google Shopping and Amazon for every monitored product. The pricing page has every plan, and Free stays free for 50 products.

Running Keepa next to Pricebeeper

The two overlap only on Amazon, and even there they answer different questions. Keepa tells you where an Amazon price has been; Pricebeeper tells you what the sellers of your product charge, on Amazon and off it, and alerts you when that changes. A brand selling on its own site and on Amazon can use Keepa for research and Pricebeeper for monitoring. Create an account and try Growth for 14 days without a card.

When Keepa may suit you better

  • You need Amazon price history or hour-fresh Amazon prices

Keepa's API returns complete price histories for Amazon products, with marketplace offers, Buy Box, stock and variation data, and refreshes a product whose data is more than about an hour old. Pricebeeper's history begins with your first check, and its Amazon prices change only at its monthly search.

  • You only watch Amazon and want a free or cheap tool

Keepa has a free plan, and RevenueGeeks, a third-party review site, lists its paid plan at €29 a month or €290 a year. Pricebeeper's Free plan covers 50 products but doesn't search Amazon; that starts on Starter at $39.

  • You need bulk Amazon data in your own software

Keepa's API returns up to 100 products per request by ASIN or product code, can push tracked price changes to a webhook, and has a hosted MCP server for AI assistants. It is priced by tokens per minute.

  • You want Amazon price data in your browser

Keepa's site lists browser extensions next to its web app. Pricebeeper has no browser extension; it works from your catalog in its own app, by email and through its API.

Questions people ask

Is Pricebeeper a Keepa alternative?

Only if you need more than Amazon. Keepa charts Amazon price history for any product and sells Amazon data by API. Pricebeeper tracks the sellers of your own catalog on Google Shopping, Amazon and shop sites, by region, with per-seller alerts. For Amazon research alone, Keepa does more; for your whole market, Pricebeeper does.

How much does Keepa cost?

Keepa shows prices only inside its web app. According to RevenueGeeks, a third-party review site, Keepa has a free plan and one paid plan at €29 a month or €290 a year, and its API plans run from €49 a month for 20 tokens a minute to €11,099 for 10,000. Confirm current prices with Keepa.

Does Keepa track Google Shopping or Walmart prices?

Not according to its own pages, which describe Amazon price history across 11 Amazon locales. Pricebeeper covers Google Shopping, where Walmart, eBay stores and independent shops list their offers, plus Amazon and competitor pages you pin. Walmart then appears as one of your product's sellers, with its own price line and alerts.

Can Pricebeeper show price history from before I signed up?

No. Pricebeeper's history for a product starts with your first check and builds from there, per seller and per region. Keepa's API offers complete price histories for Amazon products, so for past Amazon prices Keepa is the better source. Pricebeeper's charts cover the whole period since you started monitoring, and its analytics read the last 90 days.

Does Keepa or Pricebeeper reprice Amazon listings?

Neither. Keepa tracks and charts Amazon prices, and Pricebeeper monitors competitors and reprices only Shopify and WooCommerce stores, on Growth and up. To change your Amazon prices automatically and compete for the Buy Box, use an Amazon repricer such as Informed, Seller Snap or BQool.
