Pricebeeper vs Pricefx

Pricefx is a B2B pricing platform for manufacturers and distributors: it manages price lists, quotes, customer agreements and rebates, optimizes them with AI, and connects to SAP and Salesforce; its own guide puts implementation at 3 to 18 months. Pricebeeper is competitor price monitoring for online retail: it finds the sellers of your products on Google Shopping and Amazon, tracks their prices by country or state, and adds MAP monitoring and rule-based repricing on Growth, from $39 a month.

The short answer

Choose Pricefx if you are a manufacturer or distributor whose pricing lives in price lists, quotes, contracts and rebates inside SAP or Salesforce. Choose Pricebeeper if you need to see what shops and resellers charge online, police MAP, or reprice a Shopify or WooCommerce store: Growth does all three for $209 a month, set up the same day.

Who Pricebeeper suits better than Pricefx

  1. Online retailers selling to consumers

Pricefx's pages target complex B2B companies in manufacturing, distribution and chemicals, with quoting, agreements and rebates. Pricebeeper is built around consumer prices on Google Shopping and Amazon, from $39 a month for 500 slots.

  2. Brands that need to see resellers' online prices and MAP breaches

Pricefx manages your own prices and imports external market data feeds; its pages don't describe collecting resellers' web prices. Pricebeeper's Growth plan, $209 a month, finds resellers on Google Shopping and Amazon and opens a MAP violation with hashed evidence when one advertises below your MAP.

  3. Teams without 3 to 6 months for an implementation

Pricefx's implementation guide gives 3 to 6 months for a focused first project and 9 to 18 months for a broad rollout. Pricebeeper is self-serve: import products, attach them to a region, and the first check is queued at once, with a 14-day Growth trial and no card.

  4. Small pricing teams that want a published price

Pricefx publishes no prices. Pricebeeper's plans run from $39 a month for 500 slots to $1,999 for 30,000, with competitor data included, monthly or annual billing, and cancellation from the billing page.

Pricefx sets B2B prices; Pricebeeper watches retail ones

Pricefx is enterprise pricing software for business-to-business sellers. A manufacturer or distributor uses it to hold every list, base and customer price in one system, to build quotes, including inside Salesforce, to manage customer agreements and rebates, and to push approved changes back to its ERP. Its AI Optimization, a product since 2017, recommends prices across customers, products and markets. Its Agents, launched in 2025, scan transactions for margin leaks such as discounts that creep up or costs that never reached prices.

Pricebeeper works in business-to-consumer retail. It is competitor price monitoring: it searches Google Shopping and Amazon for each product you monitor, matches the other sellers by barcode, and records their prices, shipping and stock by country or state. On Growth and up it adds MAP monitoring for brands and repricing for shops.

The two meet in one place. Pricefx's price rules can recalculate when costs or competitors move, and it connects to external market data feeds. It doesn't say it collects competitor prices from the web. Pricebeeper is such a collector, with a pricing layer for online stores.

Who buys each one

Pricefx's site is organized around B2B roles and industries: pricing teams and sales teams in manufacturing, distribution and chemicals. Its about page reports more than 190 customers in 27 countries, $645 billion in annual revenue managed on the platform, and more than 375 employees. Its customer stories include a lubricants business, a parts distributor and Calumet, which cut a market-wide price increase from nearly a month to one day.

Pricebeeper is built for online shops, retailers with several stores that also sell online, and brands that police resellers. A slot is one product in one region, and the plans run from Free, with 50 slots, to Business, with 30,000.

Months of implementation or a same-day start

Pricefx publishes a guide to implementation. It says a focused first project, with one capability, one business unit and one region, typically delivers initial value in 3 to 6 months, and that broad rollouts across several ERPs, regions and product lines run 9 to 18 months. It names five factors that set the timeline: scope, data readiness, executive sponsorship, integration complexity and delivery model. Its Agents can surface findings within days of connecting data, before the wider project is done.

Pricebeeper has no implementation phase. You import your catalog from Shopify, WooCommerce, a CSV file or a Google Merchant feed through catalog import, attach products to a country or state, and the first check is queued straight away. The Growth trial runs 14 days without a card.

What each costs

Pricefx doesn't publish prices; its site offers demos and a contracts hub for subscription terms. Its implementation guide describes delivery led in-house, by a partner, or a blend of the two, and its home page names Deloitte, PwC and Accenture among its system integrators.

Pricebeeper's prices are on its pricing page. A brand watching 500 products in 3 countries uses 1,500 slots and needs Growth, $209 a month, for MAP monitoring. 1,500 products in one country fit Plus at $99, and 12,000 fit Pro at $799. Competitor data is included, and annual billing saves about two months.

Where the market prices come from

Pricefx's integrations page lists ways to bring data in: APIs, managed data flows and file transfers from ERP, CRM, data warehouses and "any market data feed". Someone still has to produce that feed. Pricebeeper produces it for online retail: the sellers of a matched product on Google Shopping and Amazon, found once a month (up to 40 on Google), then re-read from each seller's page weekly on Starter and Plus and daily on Growth and up, with the 5 cheapest every 6 hours. Prices go out by CSV export, webhook or the API.

Pricebeeper tracks 67 countries and about 1,700 states and provinces. It does not cover B2B marketplaces, distributor portals or prices behind a customer login.

When a manufacturer might use both

A manufacturer can run its price lists, quotes and rebates in Pricefx and still need to know what resellers advertise to consumers. That second job is Pricebeeper's: MAP monitoring on Growth, Pro, Business and Custom flags sellers below your minimum advertised price, groups violations by seller and region, and keeps a hashed snapshot of each one as evidence. To see it on your own products, start on the Free plan or the Growth trial; create an account.

When Pricefx may suit you better

  • Manufacturers and distributors with price lists, quotes and rebates

Pricefx covers price lists, quoting inside CRM, customer agreements, rebate accrual and payout, and channel incentives, with approval workflows and audit trails. Pricebeeper has none of these: it prices one retail listing per product.

  • Enterprises running SAP or Salesforce

Pricefx says it is the only pricing platform with SAP Endorsed App status, with certified integrations for SAP S/4HANA and Salesforce and partners such as Deloitte, PwC and Accenture. Pricebeeper writes prices to Shopify and WooCommerce only.

  • Companies whose prices follow costs across very large catalogs

Pricefx Agents flag cost increases that never reached prices, and one customer story describes 1.6 million SKUs from 300 suppliers under one system. Pricebeeper's rules follow competitor prices, with your cost used only as a floor.

  • Buyers who weigh analyst reports and a long record

Pricefx was founded in 2011, reports more than 190 customers in 27 countries, and cites Leader placements from Gartner and IDC for B2B pricing software. Pricebeeper is newer and has no public reviews yet.

Questions people ask

Is Pricefx B2B or B2C?

Mainly B2B. Pricefx's site is aimed at manufacturers, distributors and chemical companies, and its tools cover price lists, quoting, customer agreements, rebates and channel incentives. It does list promotions among its capabilities. Pricebeeper is built for consumer retail: competitor prices on Google Shopping and Amazon, MAP monitoring for brands and repricing for online shops.

How much does Pricefx cost?

Pricefx doesn't publish prices; you book a demo for a quote. Its implementation guide describes delivery led in-house, by a partner, or a blend of both. Pricebeeper's plans are public, from $39 a month for 500 slots to $1,999 for 30,000, with competitor data included.

How long does a Pricefx implementation take?

According to Pricefx's own guide, 3 to 6 months to initial value for a focused project with clean data and a clear first use case, and 9 to 18 months for a broad rollout across several ERPs, regions and product lines. Pricebeeper is self-serve, with the first check queued as soon as you attach a product.

Does Pricefx collect competitor prices?

Its pages don't say so. They describe importing external market data feeds, and rules that recalculate when costs or competitors move, but not collecting competitor prices from the web. Pricebeeper does: it finds the sellers of your products on Google Shopping and Amazon and reads pinned competitor pages directly.

Can Pricebeeper manage B2B price lists or quotes?

No. Pricebeeper has no price lists per customer, quotes, agreements or rebates. It suggests one retail price per product from competitor data and writes it to Shopify or WooCommerce, with automatic changes on Pro and up. For B2B price management, Pricefx or a similar platform is the right tool.
