Who Pricebeeper suits better than Priceva
Shops whose products have many competing sellers
500 products on 10 sites checked daily is 150,000 checks a month on Priceva, or $299 on its Pro plan after 50,000 extra checks at $0.002. Pricebeeper Growth costs $209 for up to 3,000 products and re-reads each known seller's page it can read daily, up to 40 per matched product, whether a product has 3 sellers or 30.
Teams without a list of competitor product URLs
Priceva's setup asks you to add links to the sites that list your products, or to order matching: $0.10 per item by its editors, or code auto-matching from $25 per site. Every Pricebeeper paid plan, from $39, searches Google Shopping and Amazon by barcode and brings back the sellers.
Pricing managers who look back further than a quarter
Priceva's plan table shows up to 90 days of price history, and says it may be shorter with larger data volumes. Pricebeeper's charts run from your first check: every reading is kept for 90 days, then kept as a daily low, average and high per seller.
Retailers comparing prices between US states or Canadian provinces
Pricebeeper tracks about 1,700 states, provinces and cantons alongside 67 countries, each as its own region. Priceva counts monitoring regions (1, 2 or unlimited by plan) but its pages don't say whether a region can be a state.

Checks against slots: two ways to count
Priceva is a price monitoring, MAP and repricing tool for retailers and brands. You upload your product list, add the links where competitors sell each product, and it scans those pages on a schedule. Its unit is the price check. Priceva's formula is products × competitor sites × monitoring frequency; on marketplaces, each seller offer is a separate check.
Its plans are Starter (free: 20 products, up to 20 sites, 6,200 checks a month, one monitoring region, one user), Business ($99: unlimited products, 30 sites, 35,000 checks, two regions) and Pro ($199: 40 sites, 100,000 checks, unlimited regions). Extra checks cost $0.0029 on Business and $0.002 on Pro, and extra sites $2.50 each. Enterprise starts around 700,000 checks and is quoted by sales.
Pricebeeper counts slots: one product tracked in one region. The slot price stays the same whether Google Shopping shows 2 sellers of that product or 20. Slot-based pricing explains plans and packs, and the pricing page lists them.
What three catalogs cost each month
The figures use Priceva's own example of daily monitoring, 30 runs a month, and the cheapest Priceva plan for each check count. Pricebeeper's column shows the plan with daily re-checks, since those are the closest match.
| Catalog | Priceva checks a month | Priceva | Pricebeeper |
|---|---|---|---|
| 200 products, 5 competitors each | 30,000 | $99 (Business) | $209 (Growth); $39 with weekly re-reads on Starter |
| 500 products, 10 competitors each | 150,000 | $299 (Pro, plus 50,000 checks at $0.002) | $209 (Growth) |
| 1,000 products, 20 competitors each | 600,000 | $1,199 (Pro, plus 500,000 checks at $0.002) | $209 (Growth) |
With few competitors per product, Priceva is cheaper: 200 products on 5 sites fit its $99 plan, against $209 for daily re-checks on Pricebeeper. As the seller count grows, Priceva's bill grows with it and Pricebeeper's doesn't, because Growth covers 3,000 products at a flat price. Two caveats on Pricebeeper's side: the daily re-check reads the sellers whose pages it can read, and Amazon offers update only at the monthly search, since Pricebeeper never reads Amazon pages directly.
Who finds the competitor pages
Priceva calls link selection matching, and gives you two routes. You add the links yourself, by hand or by file import, or you order them from Priceva: its editors match by hand at $0.10 per item, handling about 500 links a working day, with queues of up to 5 to 7 days at busy times. Paid plans can add auto-matching by product codes from $25 per site.
Pricebeeper skips that step on paid plans. It searches Google Shopping and Amazon for each product by GTIN barcode, then brand and title, and asks for the sellers of the matched item. Doubtful matches are flagged for you to confirm or reject; see exact product matching. The limit is reach: a shop that lists on neither Google Shopping nor Amazon only appears if you add it as a pinned competitor page, up to 10 per product on Growth.
Daily by default, custom schedules on Priceva
Priceva's plan table lists one check a day as the default on every plan. Its setup guide shows schedules set to the minute, with different schedules for different brands, categories or competitors, and paid plans can also run on demand. Every extra run adds checks, so twice-daily monitoring doubles the count.
Pricebeeper's schedule is fixed by plan. Searches for sellers run once a month on every paid plan. Between searches, Pricebeeper re-reads up to 40 known sellers per matched product from their own pages: weekly on Starter and Plus, and once a day on Growth, Pro and Business, with the 5 cheapest offers every 6 hours. Daily re-checks describes the schedule, and Check now re-reads a product's known offers on demand. For daily or hourly discovery you need the sales-led Custom plan.
Marketplaces each tool reads
Priceva lists 17 marketplaces and retail platforms: Amazon (US, UK, DE, FR and CA), eBay, Walmart, Wayfair, Home Depot, Costco, Best Buy, Newegg, Target Plus, Google Shopping, Argos, Allegro, Empik, Morele, Lazada, Shopee and Tokopedia. Paid plans add cart price monitoring and scanning of sites with bot protection.
Pricebeeper reads Google Shopping and Amazon in 67 countries through a paid data provider. Walmart, eBay and many independent shops appear through their Google Shopping listings, and competitor sites can be pinned. It doesn't read the retailer marketplaces above directly. Marketplaces and channels lists what is covered.
Regions, history and users
Pricebeeper can track the same product in about 1,700 states, provinces and cantons as well as whole countries, which suits chains whose competitors price differently in Texas and in Ohio. Priceva sells monitoring regions by plan and lets a campaign cover many regions and countries, but its pages don't describe tracking by state.
On history, Priceva shows up to 90 days. Pricebeeper keeps each reading for 90 days and a daily low, average and high per seller after that, so its charts reach back to your first check. On users, Priceva is more generous: unlimited on Business and Pro, against seats by plan on Pricebeeper with free read-only viewers.
Repricing and MAP
Priceva's plan table includes repricing and MAP or MSRP comparison on every plan. Its repricing rules are formulas such as 5% below a competitor but not below a threshold, applied by hand or through its API. Saved copies of product pages as MAP evidence are an Enterprise feature.
Pricebeeper's repricing starts on Growth: rules inside a floor, ceiling and maximum change, an approval queue, and updates written to Shopify or WooCommerce. Pro adds automatic changes. MAP monitoring, also from Growth, groups violations by seller and keeps a hashed snapshot of each one.
Testing the two side by side
Both start free without a card. Put 20 products in Priceva's Starter with their competitor links, and the same 20 in Pricebeeper's Free plan or the 14-day Growth trial, which drops to Free if you don't subscribe. Compare the sellers each shows and the time the setup took. Create a Pricebeeper account to start.
When Priceva may suit you better
You watch a small catalog against a handful of known rivals
Priceva's free plan fits 20 products on 10 sites checked daily within its 6,200 checks, and its $99 Business plan covers about 230 products on 5 sites every day. Pricebeeper's daily re-checks start on Growth at $209; its cheaper plans find sellers monthly and re-read them weekly.
You want checks on your own schedule
Priceva's default is one check a day, but schedules can be set to the minute and differ by brand, category or competitor, and paid plans add on-demand runs, cart price monitoring and scanning of bot-protected sites. Each extra run uses more checks.
You sell on US big-box or regional marketplaces
Priceva tracks 17 platforms, among them Walmart, Home Depot, Wayfair, Costco, Best Buy, Target Plus, Newegg, Allegro, Lazada and Shopee. Pricebeeper covers Google Shopping, where Walmart and eBay sellers appear, and Amazon, but doesn't read those marketplaces directly.
You need many users and repricing from the start
Priceva's paid plans have unlimited users, and its plan table lists repricing and MAP comparison on every plan, the free one included. Pricebeeper has 2 to 25 seats by plan plus free viewers, and repricing from Growth.
Questions people ask
How does Priceva pricing work?
By price checks. One check is one product read on one competitor site, or one marketplace seller offer, in one run. The free plan allows 6,200 a month, Business ($99) 35,000 and Pro ($199) 100,000, with extra checks at $0.0029 or $0.002. Checking 100 products on 10 sites daily uses 30,000 checks a month.
Is Priceva cheaper than Pricebeeper?
For small catalogs with few competitors, yes: 200 products on 5 sites checked daily fit Priceva's $99 plan, against $209 for daily re-checks on Pricebeeper. With many sellers per product it turns: 500 products on 10 sites cost $299 a month on Priceva, while Pricebeeper's price doesn't depend on the number of sellers.
Do I need competitor URLs for Priceva?
Yes, or you pay Priceva to find them. Its setup guide asks you to add the links for each product, by hand or by file, or to order matching from its team at $0.10 per item. Pricebeeper's paid plans search Google Shopping and Amazon for the sellers, so no URLs are needed.
How much price history does Priceva show?
Up to 90 days, according to its plan table, and possibly less with large data volumes. Pricebeeper keeps each reading for 90 days and a daily low, average and high per seller after that, so its price history charts go back to your first check.
